A programról
Ararat is one of the most famous and popular mountains at elevations of over 5000 meters. Its height is 5137 m, and its peak is covered in ice. Climbing Mount Ararat is quite suitable for novices because it presents no technical challenges. The service level on our tour is the highest possible in the region: transportation of luggage and personal belongings by mule, chef services. Everything from airport pickup to airport dropoff is included.

Nap 1
Meeting day.
We meet you at the Iğdır city airport (IGD) at the appointed time. The transfer to Doğubayazıt takes about an hour. Hotel check-in, checking gear. Resting after the flight. Dinner together at a Turkish restaurant. You can also fly into Van airport (VAN), but it is farther away (the transfer takes 2.5 hours) and requires additional payment for the transfer (see the Additional Services section).
Nap 2
Hike to Camp 1.
Transfer to Cevirme village at an elevation of 2200 m, where our route begins. We will load our backpacks and food onto horses and walk unburdened. Today we will ascend 1000 m. The hike will take us 4-5 hours. We will set up our tents at the campsite. The chef will prepare dinner.
Nap 3
Acclimatization.
Acclimatizational ascent to an elevation of 4200 m and return to Camp 1. We will bring along small backpacks with lunchboxes and thermoses. The whole hike up and back will take about 6 hours. Today we will reach an elevation of 4000 m for the first time. However, because of the temperate climate and good trail, we should be feel greating! Return to Camp 1. Dinner.
Nap 4
Hike to Camp 2.
Today, we will gather up our things and move to Camp 2 at an elevation of 4200 m. All the items will be delivered by horse. We will set up tents at Camp 2. Early bedtime to rest up for our climb.
Nap 5
Climbing Mount Ararat.
We will wake up at 1 a.m. We will have breakfast and get ready for our climb. The hike to the top takes 5-7 hours. After the climb, we will descend to Camp 2, have lunch, and rest. After that, we will continue down to Camp 1.
Nap 6
Descent. Turkish bath.
Descent to the spot where our trek began, and transfer to Doğubayazıt. Checking into our hotel. After lunch, we will head to the Turkish bath (if desired). Dinner at a Turkish restaurant.
Nap 7
Ishak Pasha Palace and departure home.
We will visit the main attraction of the area—the enormous Ishak Pasha Palace, built on the Silk Road near the Iranian border. You will have time to visit the palace if your flight is in the evening. If needed, you can book your return flight for any time that day or the following day.

REPÜLŐJEGYEK
You need to fly into Iğdır Airport (IGD) or Van Airport (VAN). There are several flights per day from Istanbul to these cities. Please check that your transfer from your international flight to the domestic flight takes place in the same airport (Istanbul has two!) or take the time required to travel between airports into account. Ask our managers - we will help you select the optimal flight option and, if necessary, we will help you purchase the ticket.

Citizens of many countries require no visa to enter Turkey. There are currently no restrictions on entering Turkey, including those related to COVID-19.
BIZTOSÍTÁS
You will need to obtain mountaineering insurance with a minimum coverage of 35,000 USD. The insurance must cover potential expenses for emergency medical care, including hospitalization; search and rescue in the mountains in case of an emergency (including helicopter evacuation); medical transportation; and repatriation to your permanent place of residence. You can arrange this insurance through us (see the "Additional Services" section).
